Indie Rock from Quarantine is a series of paintings created during the pandemic years.

Drawing from independent music, underground comics, street art, and self-published culture, these works combine portraits, handwritten notes, repeated words, and graphic elements into layered visual compositions. Text becomes image, thoughts become texture, and fragments of language merge with faces and figures.

Working almost entirely in black and white, the series embraces immediacy and imperfection. Scribbles, corrections, and overlapping marks remain visible, preserving the energy of a sketchbook, a poster wall, or a photocopied fanzine.

Rather than documenting a specific moment, these paintings capture a state of mind: restless, intimate, and shaped by the visual language of independent culture.
