"I've been searching for silence for a long time,
now I'm telling the emanations"

Diego Gabriele is a painter, illustrator, designer, editor at Murmù Publishing, and imagination teacher. He lives and works in the hills of Florence. His art has often been included in the lowbrow, new contemporary, and pop surrealist painting scene.

Diego Gabriele's paintings are recognizable both for their subjects and their distinctive technique: created on cardboard, paper, and wood, his figures emerge from a tangle of small, twisted marks, primarily pastels and acrylic scratches.

Diego Gabriele's female figures are silent, eager to tell something about themselves, something they've never told anyone. Small details allow you to glimpse their daily lives.

Diego Gabriele's works have been exhibited in many European and American galleries, and he collaborates with many prestigious fashion brands and important magazines such as Corso Como 10 (Milan), Colette (Paris), L'Eclaireur (Paris), MF Fashion, and Le Figaro.
