Il Disgelo (The Thaw) is a self-produced artbook created alongside the album of the same name by the band Atterraggio Alieno, for which I also designed the cover.

Pale, weightless figures move across found vintage photographs — Soviet skylines, Italian landscapes, distant cities. A dialogue between drawing and archival imagery, between the present and a past that belongs to no one in particular.

A project born from music, and turned into image.
